Question 1

What exactly does Next Day Services do?

Accepted Answer

We are a full-service HVAC and mechanical contractor based in Surrey, BC. We install, repair, and maintain furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, air conditioners, tankless water heaters, and whole-home comfort systems. We also offer plumbing, electrical, and sheet metal fabrication. Our protection plans help you stay ahead of costly breakdowns with scheduled maintenance and repair credits.

Question 2

How do I know if I need a new heat pump or just a repair?

Accepted Answer

The best way to know is to schedule a diagnostic. Our technician will run a full 21-point system check. Signs that replacement may be worth considering include: your system is over 10–15 years old, repair costs keep climbing, energy bills are rising, or your home never feels consistently comfortable. We'll always give you honest guidance and a clear written quote before any work begins.

Question 3

Where does Next Day Services work?

Accepted Answer

Our office is at 19049 95A Ave, Surrey, BC. We serve homeowners and businesses across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, from Vancouver and Burnaby to Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and as far as Merritt. Most service calls within our regular coverage zone get same-day or next-day response.

Question 4

How much does it cost to replace a furnace or heat pump?

Accepted Answer

A typical furnace or heat pump replacement runs between $3,500 and $8,000+ installed, depending on your home size, efficiency rating, and brand. High-efficiency units cost more upfront but often qualify for BC CleanBC Energy Savings Program rebates of up to $13,000 for standalone heat pump upgrades (up to $18,000 total project maximum including electrical panel upgrades). We offer free in-home assessments and financing options so you can choose what fits your budget.

Question 5

Can I finance my new HVAC system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We partner with trusted lenders to offer flexible financing with competitive rates and low monthly payments. Many customers qualify with little to no money down. Ask us about current financing promotions when you book your consultation.

Question 6

What are Protection Credits and how do they work?

Accepted Answer

Protection Credits are a member benefit included in our protection plans. They offset standard repair labor costs by up to $1,800 per year, depending on your plan tier. Credits apply to parts and repair labor, but not to maintenance visits, diagnostic-only calls, or restorative cleaning. In the rare event of a terminal system failure, your full annual credit can be applied toward new equipment installed by us. Credits are active only while your membership is active.

Question 7

What happens if my system fails the initial System Verification?

Accepted Answer

If your system is found to be ineligible for protection plan coverage during the initial System Verification, 100% of your Service Call Fee is credited toward new equipment replacement performed by Next Day Services. The fee is never lost — it becomes a direct service credit toward your next system. Our technician will document the findings and provide you with a clear written replacement proposal.

Question 8

How often should I have my heating or cooling system serviced?

Accepted Answer

We recommend a professional tune-up at least once per year, ideally in the fall before heating season starts. If you have a heat pump or full-system plan, twice-yearly service (spring and fall) keeps both your heating and cooling sides running at peak efficiency. Our protection plans include these scheduled visits so you never have to remember to book.

Question 9

Do you handle commercial buildings too?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We manage commercial HVAC and mechanical assets for retail, restaurants, medical clinics, warehouses, and multi-site portfolios. Our commercial plans include semi-annual or quarterly precision service, combustion integrity testing, asset health reporting, and capital expenditure roadmaps.

Question 10

How do I get a quote or book a service call?

Accepted Answer

You can request a free consultation or callback directly through our website, or call us at (604) 897-3411. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. For emergencies, leave a message and we'll return your call as soon as possible.
